Group Set To Empower Youth Through Christian Musical Concert

As part of measures of empowering youth ,and ending the lingering problem of unemployment in the country, the Golden city entertainment Nigeria has organized the Golden star campus tour to develop the skills of creative youth in the Gospel entertainment industry .

The Convener of Oh my God musical talent show, Mr Raymond Yusuf said the programme is focused on building the skills of Christian youths ,especially the multi talented youth who have skills such as dancing, singing and entertainment.

“The programme is an avenue to give the youth the platform to exhibit their skills and also leverage on this platform to obtain better opportunities in life . We want the youth to develop their God given talent ,and seek for opportunities to be their own boss”

In addition ,the convener of the programme said the event will create an opportunity for the youth to market their skill to the outside world ,and also utilize it for the propagation of the gospel of Christ.

“We will organise audition ,and each of the contenders ,will have opportunity to display their talents and gift. We will screen in the aspect of spoken word,acting ,singing and dancing ”

He further disclosed that through the programme, gospel music will not be at the back burner, but at the forefront, and other artiste will learn from the development.

He further encouraged young artiste not to give up in their area of calling ,but keep believing that the reward will surely come.

He charged all Nigerians to connect with the group on social media with the hashtag #Goldenstarcampustour.

Speaking further, he said the project will be carried out in eight different campus across the federation.

The list of the schools where the Oh my God talent show will be auditioned include; FUT Minna, Kaduna state university, Imo state university, University of Calabar, UNIPORT, UNILAG, Nasarawa State University and Uniabuja.

A musician, Alfred Atungu with the stage name, Six foot plus disclosed that the group is seeking for means of encouraging young Nigerians to stay in the entertainment industry, and also become relevant individual in the industry .

According to him, the profit that is meant to be obtained from the entertainment industry is not yet untapped .

He further gave assurance that the project will be a successful one, with commitment and support from well meaning Nigerians .
