RAMADAN: Mainoma Urges Muslim Faithful to do Good Deeds And Remain Peaceful

The vice Chancellor Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Muhammad Akora Mainoma has called on Muslims faithful to do more of good deeds and remain peaceful throughout this blessed month of Ramadan.

Prof. Mainoma made this call while giving an opening remark at this year's Ramadan annual symposium at the Assembly Hall In Nasarawa State University, today.

He further advised the muslims Umma who want to achieve good in life and in the hereafter to increase their charity habits and stay away from doing any form of evil acts.

Speaking shortly after the vice Chancellor, the emir of Keffi, who doubles as the Chancellor of the institution, HRH ALH. Dr. Shehu Chindo Yamusa iii who speaks on behalf of the chairman of the occasion, urged Muslims to be obedient to Allah and stay away from committing sin.

The emir further called on the youths to know that in the month of Ramadan there are many temptations and they should develop the will of overcoming them.

This year's event took a different dimension as it was in three phase which are the 9th Annual Ramadan Symposium, Formal commissioning of Central Mosque and Endowment fundraising.
