Nsuk Strike To End Soon -Chancellor

The Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, HRH Shehu Usman- Yamusa has expressed that the over one month old Industrial Strike action embarked by the University ASUU chapter will soon be called.

He made this state when members of the Presidents Forum of the university led by its chairman Aliyu Abdullahi Yakubu (Currently the President of the Faculty of Social Sciences) paid him a courtesy visit today, 11th April, 2016 at his Palace in Keffi.

He said 'Series of meetings have been held and are still being held to reach a consensus towards ending the strike action'.

Furthermore, he commended the students, who were all Faculty Presidents, on their peacefull approach towards reaching out to the authority. He went on to condem all forms of student protest as it will only lead to more problems.

He urged students to excercise patience as he is ensuring that all hands are on deck on the strike matter.

Present among the students were Abdul Abdulrahaman Keana, President of th Faculty of Education and Aminu Usman, President, Faculty of Natural & Applied Sciences.
