MODE OF APPLICATION 

Prospective candidates are requested to process their admission with JAMB registration number with the sum of #3,500 (Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira, Only) payable to JAMB before proceeding to register online via REMITA platform or visit www.nsuk.edu.ng for more details.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Application must possess the following:
i. Part-One applicants: minimum of five (5) O/level credits which must include English Language and Mathematics.

ii. Part-Two applicants: A National Diploma (ND) or Nasarawa State University Diploma in relevant area including 0/level requirement in (i) above.

iii. Part-Five applicants: A Higher National Diploma (HND), a recognised University Degree or an Advance Diploma as recognised by Nasarawa State University, including 0/level requirements in (i) above.


DURATION OF THE PROGRAMMES

i. Part-One : Minimum of twelve semesters (Six years)

ii. Part-Two: Minimum of ten semesters (five years)

iii. Part-Five: Minimum of four semesters (two years)


NOTE:
  • Sale of forms commences on 09/09/2019 and closes on 25/11/2019

FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES WINS 2019 V.C's CUP.


The 2019 Vice Chancellor's cup tournament came to a crescendo on Friday 19th September 2019, when defending champions Faculty of Social Sciences engaged hard fighting Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences in the final match that took place at the NSUK sport complex.
After a thrilling 90 minutes, the talented Social Scientists, thumped their Natural and Applied Sciences counterparts by three un replied goals to keep the trophy for keeps for a third time running.
The football match had the Vice - Chancellor, the DVC Academics, the Bursar and the Head Human Resources Division amongst other top staff of the university in attendance.
Medals were awarded to deserving teams and players who distinguished themselves during the tournament.

NSUK Extends date for Post - UTME 2019 Online Screening Exercise


This is to inform prospective candidates and the general public that the 2019/2020 Post-UTME Screening Exercise has been extended from 13th to 26th September, 2019.

The extension is to afford those who were unable to participate in the exercise before the expiration of the first approved deadline of 13th September, 2019 the opportunity to do so.


Similarly, candidates whom for reasons of inadequate requirements were disqualified but have acquired the required qualification are to proceed to the academic office with their details for further action please.

Gov. Sule Rallies Support For the Development of NSUK, Pledges 20 Million Naira To The University





The Visitor to the Nasarawa State University, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A Sule, has called on stakeholders and lovers of education to join hands with the state government in its vision of transforming the University into a world class institution.
Gov. Sule made the call on Saturday 14th September, 2019 at the 2nd Stakeholders Meeting of the University in Keffi.
He eulogised the contributions of the founding fathers, past and present leadership of the University for their exceptional dedication toward making the institution one of the best public universities in Nigeria.
He noted that University education is capital intensive and needs the support of private and corporate individuals to help make the institution a truly 21st century citadel of excellence.
On the proposed establishment of Faculty Engineering and College of Medicine, the Visitor made a personal donation of 20 million Naira to ensure that the projects kick off smoothly.
Earlier the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Suleiman Bala Mohammed, informed the stakeholders of the desperate need of the University for financial and infrastructural intervention especially with the growing need for university education and the burden of increasing pressure on the institution.
The Vice Chancellor said all is set for commencement of admission into the proposed new programme in the 2020/2021 Academic Session.
Both the Chancellor, HRH Dr. Shehu Chindo Yamusa III and the Chairman of the Governing Council, Prof. Adamu Baikie, spoke in support of urgent intervention to ensure that the University meets up with the mandate for which it was established.

We also want to use this medium to keep you inform that the Students Union Government  Independent Electoral Commission under the leadership of Comr. Ibrahim Babayidi Maikasuwa, deemed it necessary to refund money to all aspirant disqualified during the recently concluded election.

All disqualify aspirant are therefore by this notice advice to apply to the ELCOM Chairman for the refund of their money.
